6. Monocular testing

In order to learn whether visual acuity is symmetric, the eyes need to be tested in turn while the other eye is covered. As a cover we can use a "pirate's patch" or a soft tissue folded to a triangle.


"You are smart, you answer like school girls."
"She is one year eleven months"
"And which picture is here?" "Ball."
"And this one?" "Heart."
"Now we cover the other eye.. and then you can look at this one."
