10. Cover test

When the child is looking at interesting details, covering eyes in turn reveals whether the eyes are equally used by the child. Note that in this case it first looks as if the child preferred the right eye but later it can be covered for quite a while. Thus there cannot be a marked difference in the use of the eyes.

A few weeks earlier, covering the right eye was not tolerated. After the girl received her glasses, the right eye had been covered for a short time each day.
